The full list of local celebrities participating in the campaign video includes Timber Joey, Poison Waters, Patterson Hood, Zia McCabe, Sam Adams, Chelsea Cain, Cool Nutz, DJ Anjali, Esperanza Spalding, Colin Meloy, Carson Ellis, Mitchell Jackson, JoAnn Hardesty, Kelly Sue DeConnick, Carrie Brownstein, and China Forbes. “This year has fueled a painful but important conversation about the need for healing within our communities,” said BRF Co-Founder, Cameron Whitten. “We’re grateful to these prominent Portlanders who are calling on all of us to keep the focus on our Black neighbors.”

Health Clinic Heroes
A short film on the Portland region’s COVID-19 response, produced by the Coalition of Community Health Clinics and Outside the Frame. The film features community leaders as well as frontline staff at health clinics who support the health and well-being of people experiencing poverty, homelessness, and other barriers to good health. The stories include a nurse who treats a single mom with COVID-19, the rapid opening of a child care center so health clinic staff could continue treating patients, and helping people experiencing homelessness with basic needs as services closed down. coalitionclinics.org outsidetheframe.org
